About me
I grew up in the Atlanta area and have practiced pediatrics in northern Atlanta since 2003. I decided I wanted to be a physician when I was a freshman in high school. I liked that I could combine the science that I loved with my passion for people. I have interests in wellness and obesity prevention, and I also enjoy teaching college students. My husband and I have a daughter who keeps us on our toes. I have found that I have developed a better understanding of my patients and their families since I have had a child of my own. It is an honor for me to be able to interact daily with our wonderful Kaiser Permanente members and watch their children grow.
About my practice
My specialty is general pediatrics where I care for children of all ages. I aim to listen to my patients and their families, address their concerns, and guide them through their years of growth and development. I strive to help our members live happy and healthy lives. In the Kaiser Permanente Pediatrics Department, I have the opportunity to work with other knowledgeable and caring physicians, associate providers and nurses, and together we hope to make your experience exceptional.
How I thrive
I try to keep myself healthy in mind, body and spirit. I love the interaction I have with my patients and their families. It is not a job that I have to go to each day, but a place I enjoy going to! I strive to be active and maintain a healthy diet. My favorite ways to exercise are walking outside on a cool, sunny day and dancing around the house with my daughter. She often brings out the silliness in me. I love animals and have two dogs and a cat who vie for my attention. When I have spare time, I love to go to the movies or a musical. When I have a little bit of quiet time to myself, I enjoy writing yet-to-be-published children's books. I feel like I have a very fulfilling life.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process.
