Where I practice
When I was very young, I declared I wanted to deliver babies for a living. This was an attempt to convince my parents to give me a sibling. While it was unsuccessful in getting a sibling, it started a lifelong interest in obstetrics and women's health. I graduated from Emory University with a degree in anthropology and human biology. I then completed a bachelor's degree in nursing from Mercer University and then again attended Emory to obtain my master's degree in nursing for midwifery.
I am originally from New Orleans, but I have lived in Europe and Asia before settling down in Atlanta. My husband is a meteorologist and we have two children.
About my practice
I am a member of the Kaiser Permanente Ob/Gyn Department. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in 2018, I was practicing as a nurse-midwife for over 15 years. I strive to give our members a positive, healthy birth experience.
How I thrive
In my spare time, I love playing, reading and having the occasional dance party with my kids. When the children have better things to do than play with Mommy, I enjoy reading, traveling with my family, playing trivia with my husband, and wandering aimlessly around Target.
