I was born in Statesboro, Ga. I went to Georgia Southern College (now University) and majored in nursing. After completing nursing school, I moved to Atlanta and became a family nurse practitioner. Having realized that I always desired to be a physician, I went back to medical school in Macon, Ga. and completed my residency at Emory University. Although I was raised in a small town, I have lived in Atlanta since 1990. I have a wonderful husband and a fantastic daughter.
About my practice
The Pediatrics Department is dedicated to providing quality care for our pediatric population. Our nurses have many years of experience and work in collaboration with the physicians to provide excellent care. I enjoy working at Kaiser Permanente due to the emphasis we place on wellness and health promotion.
How I thrive
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Prior to having a child, my husband and I loved to travel. My daughter must have truly inherited the "travel bug" as she is very persistent about going back to Disney World on vacation! I also enjoy watching her play soccer and learning to ski.
