I speak: English
My gender: Male
Where I practice
I was born in India and moved to Georgia at the age of six months. I have lived in Georgia ever since. I went to Georgia Tech for my undergraduate degree and completed my medical residency at Emory. I have lived in both a big city as well as a small town, but I have always wanted to practice in a small town, suburban setting as I believe it is the right fit for me. I happily joined Kaiser Permanente in July 2018 to do just that!
About my practice
I went into family medicine because I enjoy treating children and adults. Also, I enjoy treating acute sports injuries as well as doing some procedures such as knee and shoulder injections. I believe in having a conservative approach to medicine with only using medicine when appropriate or necessary and trying lifestyle changes and other alternatives prior to medications or procedures, if possible.
How I thrive
I thrive by trying to exercise regularly, traveling, playing golf (even though I am not good), listening to music and spending time with friends and family. My usual routine involves me going to the gym in the mornings prior to work. This relaxes me and provides me with a great work/life balance, which I believe everyone should try to have in their lives.
