Where I practice
I am an Atlanta native and I am proud to call this city my home. I love taking part in the local activities around town and engaging with the community. One of my favorite activities is attending local sporting events - soccer, baseball, basketball and football! It is wonderful to see people from all over the city come together and share in these pastimes. In addition to this, I like to give back to the community by volunteering at local food banks and community clean-ups. It is important for me to help cultivate and support the community I have called home for so long.
About my practice
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I was a bedside nurse for many years and being a patient advocate comes naturally. I like to practice by empowering our members to advocate for themselves through education about their health. It is very important to me that I spend time not only treating, but also providing our members with the options and information they need to seek and make decisions about their care.
How I thrive
My physical and mental health require that I stay active throughout my week. I like to do this by biking, hiking, playing soccer and visiting the gym regularly. Not only does my body benefit, but I also find mental clarity through physical exercise and outdoor exploration. My friends and I aim to stay in touch by meeting frequently for pick-up soccer games.
