Where I practice
About me
I was born and raised in Arizona and recently moved to Atlanta to be closer to family. Before joining Kaiser Permanente, I worked in a private practice setting. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because of its integrated, patient-centered model, which allows physicians to spend more time with patients and provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
My interest in urology began through my personal experience with kidney stones, which gave me insight into the patient perspective. I was ultimately drawn to the field because it allows me to build long-term relationships with patients while treating a wide range of conditions that can significantly affect quality of life. I value the balance urology provides between surgical care and clinic-based management, as well as the opportunity to help patients improve their health and daily well-being.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married, have a son, and our home is also shared with two very spoiled cats.
About my practice
I provide comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions, including malignancies of the kidney, bladder, prostate, and testicles. I also treat common urologic concerns such as kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), overactive bladder, erectile dysfunction, and female urinary incontinence. As a robotically trained surgeon, I incorporate advanced minimally invasive and robotic techniques when appropriate to offer effective treatment with smaller incisions, less discomfort, and faster recovery. I am committed to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care and believe that clear communication is essential to good outcomes. I take time to ensure that my patients understand their diagnosis and the full range of available treatment options so they can make informed decisions about their health. My goal is to create a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and confident in their care.
How I thrive
I believe thriving in mind, body, and spirit comes from maintaining balance, staying connected to others, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. In my work as a physician, I try to bring that philosophy to patient care by listening carefully, approaching each patient with empathy, and helping people feel supported as they navigate their health.
Outside of work, I prioritize activities that help me recharge and stay active. I enjoy running, spending time outdoors, and exploring Atlanta by trying new restaurants with family and friends. These moments help me maintain perspective and bring energy and focus to my work.
Community involvement has also been an important part of my career. While practicing in Arizona, I helped provide urologic care to members of the Apache reservation who otherwise had limited access to specialty services. I also served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Phoenix Urological Society, where I enjoyed collaborating with colleagues and helping organize educational meetings. I look forward to becoming involved in similar professional and community efforts within Kaiser Permanente.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process. Board certification may not reflect contracted services available from providers listed in our directory. If you have questions regarding this or about any of our providers, call us at 1-800-611-1811 (toll free). For the hearing and speech impaired: 1-888-865-5813 or 711 (TTY).
