About me
I am the youngest of five children and grew up in Connecticut. I am the first physician in my family and chose the field of medicine, particularly the specialty of physical medicine in rehabilitation (PM&R), due to spending time as a teenager working with my sister who is a physical therapist. My passion for working in PM&R also stems from listening and working with patients, patients' families, and other medical specialists to help maximize a person's functional status and improve their quality of life.
I attended college in Atlanta, medical school in Nashville, Tenn., and residency in Philadelphia. I returned to Atlanta for the warm weather, good people and food. Atlanta is now my home. I enjoy spending time volunteering with a few non-profit organizations that provide mentoring and scholarship opportunities for young women in the Atlanta area. I enjoy participating in modern and ballroom dancing, yoga, and possess an appreciation of the fine arts.
About my practice
As a physiatrist working in pain management, I provide non-surgical treatment for spine and other musculoskeletal injuries through a multidisciplinary and evidence-based approach. I am proud to work with a team of individuals who focus on the patient. Our goals are working with our members to help improve their function and quality of life through education and various treatment options.
How I thrive
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling stateside and internationally to learn more about other cultures. Taking walks in the park or simply reading a book brings me joy.

If no plan types are listed, the facility is available for all plan types.

If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process. Board certification may not reflect contracted services available from providers listed in our directory. If you have questions regarding this or about any of our providers, call us at 1-800-611-1811 (toll free). For the hearing and speech impaired: 1-888-865-5813 or 711 (TTY).
