Where I practice
About me
A native of Atlanta, I attended college at Emory University, initially studying health care policy and law. I thought I was going to be lawyer! However, I found the clinical side of health care vastly more interesting and rewarding, and I ultimately pursued nursing. I have never regretted it for one moment as I love what I do! I get to meet so many interesting people from all walks of life. If I am able to play a role in helping our members navigate the challenges of cancer, I consider myself blessed.
I love to travel with my two dogs, enjoy hiking and snow skiing, and I am a passionate tennis player. I am a diehard SEC football fan (LSU Tigers) and I love to relax by reading a great murder mystery and listening to music.
About my practice
Oncology is a uniquely personal field. It allows me to form deep, lasting relationships with patients and their families, something I find deeply meaningful and rewarding. As a health care provider, I sincerely believe our goal is to meet and exceed our members' expectations. My clinical expertise includes the treatment of a variety of solid tumor diagnoses, as well as complex hematologic conditions, including both malignant and benign disorders.
I work collaboratively with a team of specialists in surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, and genetics to ensure every patient receives thoughtful, coordinated, and individualized care. This multidisciplinary approach is essential for managing complex and advanced cancers. But it is not just about ordering tests or creating treatment plans, it is about truly listening, understanding concerns, and engaging patients in a plan that aligns with their needs. I believe the most valuable thing we can offer is our time and undivided attention.
How I thrive
I thrive by staying connected to family and friends. I am blessed to be part of a close circle of family and friends and we communicate (some may say too much!) with each other frequently. We share the simple pleasures of life like a picture of a beautiful sunset or a fantastic meal.
Spending time outdoors is my personal sanctuary. I love gardening, cooking and hiking. Traveling is also one of my greatest joys.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
