About me
I am a board-certified family practice physician and originally from Nigeria. I served in the U.S. military with over twenty years of military service, bringing valuable experience and discipline to my practice. My journey to becoming a doctor included challenges and successes, which shaped my dedication to the medical field. I believe in building strong doctor-patient relationships and empowering individuals to take charge of their health.
During my military deployment, I observed a dedicated provider who cared for a diverse spectrum of patients, from service members to local civilians. Their compassionate and comprehensive approach to health care in a challenging environment deeply inspired me. This provider addressed immediate medical needs and took the time to understand each patient's unique circumstances, fostering trust. Their impact motivated me to pursue a career in family medicine, where I aim to provide holistic support and understanding to all patients, regardless of their situation.
About my practice
As a family medicine physician, I am dedicated to caring for patients of all ages. My approach combines evidence-based medicine with personalized care, focusing on the whole person, not just their ailments. I take the time to educate patients during consultations, fostering a collaborative environment where our members feel empowered and engaged in their treatment plans.
My areas of expertise include chronic disease management (such as diabetes and hypertension), pediatric and adolescent care, women's health and family planning, geriatric care, and minor office procedures. I am committed to providing tailored treatment that meets each patient's unique needs.
How I thrive
"Giving back" and a "life of service" are my core philosophies. I appreciate the blessings I have received from various individuals I have encountered throughout my medical journey, their roles, and the value each experience brought. Each person is unique and has something to contribute. My day starts with morning devotion, a light workout, and coffee - essential for my well-being before patient care! I share my time with my local church choir and military unit, and I enjoy water activities like jet skiing and scuba diving, with about 10 open water dives so far. I love traveling and have explored several countries with my wife. I am fluent in Yoruba and Krio and I am working to become conversational in Spanish. I am also interested in medical missions as I advance in my career and give back to a part of the world that lacks the resources we so freely take for granted.

Medicare Members: To request a hard copy of Kaiser Permanente’s provider directory, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-232-4404, seven days a week, 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Kaiser Permanente will mail a hard copy of the provider directory to you within three (3) business days of your request. Kaiser Permanente may ask whether your request for a hard copy is a one-time request or if you are requesting to receive the provider directory in hard copy permanently.
If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
