About me
I have been a dedicated practicing cardiologist in Georgia for over 20 years, and caring for my patients has been the most rewarding part of my journey. I grew up in India, where I completed my medical education at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. My passion for heart-health led me to further my training in the U.S., where I completed my residency at Columbia University (St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital) and fellowships in cardiovascular disease at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Harvard Medical School (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center).
I chose cardiology because it allows me to combine advanced technology with personalized care to truly impact my patients' lives. Over the years, I have had the privilege of caring for people from all walks of life, and I believe in building lasting relationships based on trust, empathy, and respect. I am proud to be part of the Georgia medical community, having served as president of the Hall County Medical Society and as a board member of the Medical Association of Georgia. I feel honored to be a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography, and I am proud to be a physician with Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
In my practice, I specialize in non-invasive cardiology with a focus on cardiology advanced cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, nuclear imaging, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT. In my previous cardiology practice, I served as the medical director of echocardiography and nuclear imaging where I oversaw the imaging protocols and quality metrics. I believe in a team-based, patient-centered approach where you and I work together to create a care plan tailored to your needs. I take the time to explain your diagnosis, answer your questions, and involve you in every step of your treatment.
My care team and I are here to ensure you receive comprehensive, compassionate and coordinated care, whether it is preventive screening, managing a heart condition, or performing advanced imaging to guide your treatment. I have a special interest in heart disease detection and imaging for patients undergoing cancer therapies. In my previous practice, I had the privilege of co-founding a cardio-oncology program to better address these critical needs.
Your heart health is personal to me, and I am committed to helping you live your healthiest life. I truly believe that Kaiser Permanente offers exceptional medical care and I am here to help.
How I thrive
Life outside of medicine is just as important for balance and well-being. I stay active with cycling, pickleball, and yoga, which help me recharge both physically and mentally. I find joy and relaxation in listening to Indian light music.
I also believe in giving back to my community, which is why I regularly volunteer at health fairs to provide free cardiovascular screenings. Teaching and mentoring the next generation of health care providers is another passion of mine, as it keeps me connected to the core values of patient care.
Taking care of my patients is my purpose. Staying healthy and connected through my hobbies and community service allows me to bring my very best self to every patient, every day.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
