About me

I am a Colorado native and moved back after almost 20 years living coast to coast—from New York to California to Hawaii and again most recently in Southern California. I returned to Colorado to be close to family. The most rewarding aspect of being a physician is getting to know patients as people and working together toward better health.

About my practice

I chose family medicine because I love taking care of the entire family in all aspects of their care. I welcome patients of all ages, and have a special interest in women’s health issues and procedures. I believe that every part of a person’s life has an effect on their health, so it is important to get to know each patient as a person. I like to work collaboratively with patients in their own health care, taking into account their medical history and current life circumstances. This empowers my patients to be invested in their own health and for us to make a treatment plan that meets their needs. I offer my patients convenience and can offer their questions by email, phone or video visit.

How I thrive

For me to be healthy in mind, body and spirit, I love to spend time with my family. When I’m not at work or with family, I challenge myself by learning to communicate with my rabbit (I believe we have developed a way to communicate—mainly him demanding food, treats and pets on the head).

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:

  • Size and demographics of the population to be served
  • The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
  • Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
  • Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references

You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
