About me
I am incredibly privileged and humbled by the opportunity patients give me to care for them. I can honestly say that I love my job. I am a Colorado native born in Boulder and raised in Colorado Springs. I attended CU Boulder and then University of Colorado School of Medicine. I trained in OB-GYN at Saint Joseph Hospital and have been lucky to be a Kaiser Permanente doctor since 1995. I think I was put on earth to care for women. My first job was as a national ambassador for my sorority. In medical school, I just felt at home on my OB-GYN rotations. Then to top it off, I am the mother of three wonderful young ladies. I am married to my medical school sweetheart and he is a pediatrician.
About my practice
I look forward to seeing my patients and view the practice of medicine as a partnership. I share all the information I have, and hope that my patients and I can make the best decision for their given situation. I will offer my opinion if I think one course or another would be better for my patients. Electronic medical records help me to see the big picture of your health, so I can make good use of our time together and answer your questions. I enjoy the variety my work provides – some days I’m in the office seeing new and long-term patients, and other days I’m in the operating room where I use the skills I have trained for and get to experience the joy of labor and delivery. When delivering babies, I enjoy helping people transition into such a new and wonderful time in their life.
How I thrive
I thrive with my family. I do some volunteer work in a clinic for battered women, as well as a Kaiser Permanente-supported program where I work two afternoons a month in an indigent clinic. To thrive physically and mentally you will find me on long walks on my days off.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
