About me
I grew up in North Carolina and have lived in Colorado for the past few years with my husband and two young children. We enjoy the culture of health that permeates Colorado life, and we spend as much time as we can in the beautiful outdoors here. I worked as a teacher prior to medical school, and I have always known that I wanted to be a physician due to the profound nature of the relationships I could have with my patients.
About my practice
Being an OB-GYN allows me to help women successfully navigate both joyful and difficult times in their lives. In these moments, I am honored to be an empathetic listener and a partner on my patient’s journey to health. I take as much time as needed to get to know each patient, and to determine the best plan of care for her, based on current medical evidence and her unique wishes. I enjoy the variety of work that my practice allows, and I am particularly interested in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and perimenopausal health. I perform advanced laparoscopy including hysterectomies, as well as advanced hysteroscopy including lysis of adhesions.
How I thrive
Outside of work, I restore my energy with exercise – ideally riding my mountain bike or hiking in the sun. I also spend as much time as I can skiing. I am teaching my sons to bike and ski, and nothing is more fun than watching them improve in these sports. In addition, it is important to me to be part of efforts to preserve and protect our natural environment through both local and national organizations.

If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
