Specialty Pharmacy: HIV & PrEP Services

The objective of the Specialty Pharmacy’s HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) and PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) services is to help you get maximum benefit from your medications and treatment plan. We maintain a close partnership with the Specialty Pharmacy team, your HIV and PrEP providers, and you to help you stay your healthiest.

Our specially trained pharmacy staff can:

  • Monitor your medication use
  • Help you navigate copay assistance programs you may be eligible for
  • Review affordable medication alternatives as appropriate
  • Provide consultations on HIV and PrEP medications upon request


 

Accidental exposure to HIV

If you are HIV-negative, or don't know your HIV status but think you might have been exposed to HIV during sexual contact or sharing needles, we recommend that you visit urgent care immediately to be evaluated for non-occupational post exposure prophylaxis (nPEP).
