Get help with sleep problems

If you’re having persistent sleep problems, your personal doctor can:

  • Evaluate any medications you’re taking that could be causing sleep problems
  • Discuss healthy lifestyle choices that support better sleep
  • Connect you to available resources
  • Prescribe medication to help you relax and fall asleep
  • Refer you to a sleep study

Find convenient ways to get care

Sleep studies are tests that record what happens to your body while you sleep. They can help detect problems like sleep apnea, excessive snoring, and sleep disorders. They’re usually done in a sleep lab, but you can sometimes do them at home. Talk to your doctor to find out if a sleep study may be right for you.
