Where I practice
About me
I grew up in Michigan. My father was a physician, but our family also cultivated a small farm as a hobby. At Yale, my rowing team won a national championship. Between college and medical school, I led a bicycle group on a cross-country trip from New Haven, Connecticut, to Seattle to raise money and awareness for Habitat for Humanity. That's when I discovered what a beautiful place the Pacific Northwest is. Now, I live here with my wife and son.
About my practice
I began medical school with radiology in mind, but soon realized I enjoy caring for patients on a day-to-day basis. I am excited to be part of Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to helping my patients get the highest quality of health care within an integrated system. My goal is to guide patients in making the right decisions about their health care. I aim to teach them about their medical conditions and keep them informed them of best practices. My practice is focused on middle-aged and older adults with chronic medical conditions, including high blood pressure, blood sugar control, COPD, cardiovascular disease and atrial fibrillation. I enjoy meeting and getting to know people in all stages of life and with diverse interests.
How I thrive
My family and I enjoy exploring the Cascades and the Olympic Peninsula. I was a rower in college, and I have I resumed this great form of exercise since moving to the region. In my spare time, I also like to work in my garden. I like to make a change to my diet, exercise or activities from time to time just to keep things new and interesting. Taking the time to periodically say thank you to the people in my life helps me realize how lucky I am.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
