About me
I grew up in San Diego, California, and attended college in New York City and medical school in Chicago, Illinois. I returned to NYC for residency and fellowship. Now, I am back on the West Coast exploring the Pacific Northwest with my husband. We love all outdoor activities this area has to offer.
About my practice
In high school, I accompanied my friend's father, a plastic surgeon, on a trip to Mexico where he repaired cleft palates. Witnessing this medical procedure changed my life. This experience was the catalyst for choosing a career as a family medicine physician. I value developing relationships with my patients. I joined Kaiser Permanente because of its emphasis on collaborative and patient-centered care. I completed a fellowship in integrative medicine and became certified in medical acupuncture. My hope is to utilize evidence-based, non-Western modalities in conjunction with more traditional medicine to enhance patient health and wellness. I am interested in women's health and medical acupuncture. It is a privilege to become part of a patient's story. I enjoy getting to know my patients. I love family medicine because every visit is different, it is never boring, and I love helping patients feel their best.
How I thrive
I aim to practice what I preach and try to eat colorful fresh fruits and vegetables every day. Weekday yoga keeps me centered throughout the week. Weekend trips in nature or exploring the world when I have time off keep me healthy and inspired. My husband and I love hiking, camping, traveling, music, eating and spending quality time with friends and family.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
