About me
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and am grateful to call this area home. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from the University of Washington, a field that combined my creativity with my curiosity about the human body and how our environments and communities influence health and wellness. After spending two years in Virginia for school, I returned to Washington to be closer to my roots, friends, and the Seattle culture that I love. Before becoming a physician assistant (PA), I worked for several years as a medical assistant, which gave me a deep appreciation for how essential every team member is in providing great care. I graduated from the University of Washington's PA program after realizing I wanted a more active role in helping people live their best, healthiest lives.Â
About my practice
As a clinician, I believe in taking the whole person into account, which involves listening to each patient's story and perspective to understand what matters most to them. I strive to work collaboratively to find medical approaches that are both effective and meaningful, helping patients improve their health and overall quality of life. I am especially passionate about advocating for patients and helping them navigate a complex healthcare system with understanding and support. I am grateful to be a part of Kaiser Permanente's integrated model of care, which allows greater collaboration between specialties and improved support for patients across the board.
How I thrive
I enjoy spending time with friends, going to concerts to enjoy live music, crochet, and spending time with my pets. I encourage myself to find something to laugh about every day, which sometimes means laughing at my own bad jokes.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
