Where I practice
About me
I was raised in rural Idaho and developed a great love of the outdoors as well as a strong work ethic. After completion of my undergraduate degree in biology at Idaho State University I was selected for a Navy scholarship to attend medical school in Des Moines IA. I completed my residency at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton WA and immediately knew I belonged in the Pacific Northwest. As a navy physician board certified in family medicine I had the opportunity to practice all over the world. From the Pacific Northwest to the south east, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, after 20 years of service and a proud Navy retirement I’m happy to be settling down for good back in Silverdale.
About my practice
I am proud to work collaboratively with my patients to promote improved health and overall wellness. I focus on a holistic approach ensuring every aspect of a person’s health and lifestyle is considered. I feel strongly that the best physician-patient relationships are founded in collaboration, joint decision making and mutual respect. I have 20+ years of experience in full scope family medicine including women’s health, men’s health, minor surgical procedures, and mental health.
How I thrive
I enjoy partaking of all the natural beauty western Washington has to offer. I love hiking, biking, kayaking, and skiing. I enjoy watching my son play little league sports. And I am always up for a new book recommendation.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
