About me
I was born in South Korea, but I grew up in Indiana. I left Indiana to attend college out of state, and I've been traveling around ever since. I've now made Washington my home state. I'm married, and we have a Pomeranian dog, who keeps us active and busy chasing after him.
About my practice
In college, I majored in microbiology and wanted to do research. Later on, I realized this wasn't for me. I enjoy working with people, and also the art and science of practicing good medicine. I chose to be at this organization because of the people I get to work with and the invaluable support. I appreciate the evidence-based medicine we're encouraged to practice, and the patient-centered focus we place on our work. I try to be a good listener and be empathetic. I'm always striving to keep my patients' best interests at heart. I practice family medicine, so I see all ages and genders, and every day is different. It ranges from seeing patients for their chronic conditions, acute illnesses and minor procedures. It's fascinating and rewarding to see my patients through different stages of their lives, and I feel that I grow along with them.
How I thrive
I try to live my life by being kind and appreciative of others. This helps me be a better person and stay mentally and emotionally healthy. I also like to walk, hike, do yoga, garden and go camping. I'm just starting to explore the natural wonders of our world. My plan is to visit national parks and monuments, then spread out to the rest of the world. I love to hear about other people's travels and to plan trips for my husband and me.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
