Where I practice
About me
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and have been in Spokane, Washington, for the past 12 years. Both the west side of the state and the east side feel like home to me. It's a gift to be married and to have 3 amazing children -- 2 boys and a girl. We also have an energetic and sweet Aussiedoodle puppy. I've always been drawn to helping others. My decision to pursue counseling was an easy one. I love the work I get to do as a counselor. I enjoy working alongside people in a professional and collaborative way to help them grow from, recover from, and work through their challenges. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because of their integrated, collaborative approach to health care. I'm grateful for the opportunities to grow and expand my work as a therapist.
About my practice
I genuinely enjoy the patients I get to work with. My approach is to care for the whole person. I strive to understand who my patients are and what they value in life. I seek to build therapeutic relationships that are based on safety, respect, and collaboration. I love that each person I get to meet with is unique, with their own stories and experiences. It's a privilege to be trusted by my patients and to be invited into their journeys. It's inspiring to see people grow and heal.
How I thrive
I enjoy having adventures with my kids, from going on vacation to playing at the park or going for a bike ride. Exploring the outdoors by skiing, hiking, camping, and paddleboarding keeps me motivated and inspired. I like eating good food with friends and family. I like challenging myself to take risks outside of my comfort zone.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
