About me

I was born in Seattle and raised on the Kitsap Peninsula. I left the area for undergraduate and graduate school, but returned to the Pacific Northwest because the mountains and evergreens are my home. I am married to the love of my life, and he is training to become a physical therapist. Our crazy, beautiful life is filled with two young children, two Boxer dogs and a rescue kitty. I grew up in a large family and was always trying to help and heal others. This inspired me to become a physician. My brothers and sisters would fake broken bones so that I could cast and splint them. I also volunteered with an international medical team in Nicaragua in 2012.

About my practice

I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2016 because of their emphasis on the medical home. The ability to coordinate care from primary care to all other specialties seamlessly is truly amazing. I am able to treat patients from birth onward with a great team of medical professionals. I believe it is a remarkable privilege to help others through life and to heal through medicine. I treat every patient with respect and listen to their individual concerns. I like to help my patients address their health concerns and set goals for their future. I am honored to be a part of their journey in life. I am particularly interested in family medicine and caring for patients from newborns to centenarians.

How I thrive

I am a busy mom. In my spare time, I enjoy walks with my family and dogs, and training for my next 5K race. Some of my favorite ways to stay active are to run, hike, kayak, fish and golf. I also love foreign travel and foreign cuisine. I once studied abroad in Spain and love Spanish culture. In the summer I enjoy spending time at the beach, swimming, fishing or clam digging.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.

A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.

Search Tips

  • Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
  • Check your spelling.
  • Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
  • Remove any location information from the search terms box.
  • Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
  • Try searching by specialty.
