Where I practice
About me
I was born in the Philippines, and did my studies there. This included medical school at the University of Santo Tomas, the oldest Catholic university in Asia. When my family immigrated to Seattle, I came along. After passing my board exams, and completing my pediatric residency in New York, I returned to Seattle to be with my family. I have wanted to be a doctor since I was in elementary school, because I wanted to be able to help others. I have never wavered in my choice. In 2014, I was honored in the Seattle Met magazine as one of Seattle's Top Docs.
About my practice
I enjoy the happiness I see when I can make an ill child better. The smiles and the hugs I get makes it all worth it. I try to treat my patients as I would like to be treated. I explain a situation as clearly and simply as possible, because I understand that medical terminology can sometimes be overwhelming. I have been a patient as well, and appreciated the same respectful treatment by my own providers. I wanted to be part of an organization that would provide well-rounded care to patients not just medical care, but care for the whole person. Kaiser Permanente allows me to do that.
How I thrive
I enjoy reading books, especially graphic novels, adventure and suspense. I also love to travel in general, and to visit the Philippines in particular. I value my sleep and rest times. I give my all when I am at work, and need my sleep to recharge and be the best I can be with my patients.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
