Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I'm happy that you have chosen Kaiser Permanente as your health care provider.
I was born and raised in Orange County California, but have had the opportunity to live in various U.S. states, and well as outside the U.S. After high school I spent two wonderful years in the Canary Islands as a missionary for my church. Upon returning to the United States, I attended Brigham Young University where I obtained my bachelor’s degree . After graduation I worked for four years as a Spanish-speaking hospital translator at UC Irvine Medical Center, and it was there that I found my interest in medicine, especially emergency medicine. I attended medical school in the San Francisco Bay Area at Touro University, and then had my residency training in emergency medicine at Kern County Hospital. Upon completing residency, I returned to Orange County to work at Kaiser Permanente. I currently serve in the United States Navy as a reserve medical officer with the Seabees.
About my practice
I am a board certified physician specializing in emergency medicine. I enjoy providing emergency care for patients of all ages and with any kind of illness, especially life-threatening illness. Here in the Emergency Department we strive to provide you with the best possible care during what can be a stressful time for you and your family.
How I thrive
I thrive by spending time with my family and spending time outdoors. I enjoy surfing, sailing, canyoneering, camping, scuba diving, and hiking. After a few crashes and a few broken bones later, I have traded in my mountain bike for a beach cruiser. I'm an avid college football and college basketball fan and enjoy traveling to watch my teams play. Go Cougs and Go Navy!
