Preventive dental services through Delta Dental of Washington
A preventive dental care benefit provided by Delta Dental of Washington is included on many of the individual Medicare Advantage (HMO) plans for 2026. When included, this benefit covers preventive and diagnostic services at no cost to you.

Eyewear allowance available in select plans
All Kaiser Permanente Washington Medicare Advantage plans (HMO), excluding the Centennial (HMO) plan, include eyewear coverage. We cover prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses once per calendar year. Your supplemental benefits include an allowance to use toward the purchase of eyewear from a plan optical facility, such as Vision Essentials by Kaiser Permanente. A prescription is required.

Note: Eyewear can be purchased from any provider. If you get eyewear out-of-network, you must file a claim to get reimbursed for covered eyewear expenses.
Your Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage plan covers one hearing aid fitting and evaluation exam per calendar year at $0 cost to you. Routine hearing exams (one per calendar year) and diagnostic hearing and balance evaluations to determine if you need medical treatment are covered at your primary or specialist copay.
Hearing services for Kaiser Permanente members are provided by our Kaiser Permanente Audiology Department or designated contracted providers. Hearing aid benefit (Advantage Plus)
Hearing aid coverage is available to Medicare individual health plan members as part of our optional Advantage Plus Option 2 package. To use your hearing aid benefit, you must purchase the aid at a Kaiser Permanente Hear Center or a contracted provider in our Medicare Advantage HMO network.

New nationwide visitor travel program
This program is available to all Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage Essential (HMO), Essential King (HMO), Essential Pierce (HMO), Essential Snohomish (HMO), Essential Thurston (HMO), Key (HMO), and Vital Sound (HMO) members who are traveling outside of Kaiser Permanente states temporarily (up to 6 months).
