A preventive dental care benefit provided by Delta Dental of Washington is included on all individual Medicare Advantage plans for 2025. This benefit covers preventive and diagnostic services at no cost to you.

This benefit gives you and a companion nonemergency rides within our Medicare Advantage service area to and from your doctor and dentist appointments and to in-network pharmacies. Depending on your Kaiser Permanente Medicare health plan, you can schedule at least 20 round-trip rides per year. [See footnote 2]
If you have mobility challenges, you’ll be assigned a vehicle based on your needs. Available options include van, sedan, wheelchair accessible, and Lyft and Uber vehicles.

Effective January 1, 2024, this program is available to all Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage Essential (HMO), Key (HMO), and Vital (HMO) members who are traveling outside of Kaiser Permanente states temporarily (up to 6 months). Kaiser Permanente states include California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Oregon, Virginia, Washington, and Washington, D.C.
