Where I practice
About me
I was born and raised in New Jersey in a Philadelphia suburb. I attended college and medical school in Rhode Island, then followed my 2 brothers to the West Coast to practice family medicine. I'm happily married to my husband, whom I met during my residency, and we have an energetic toddler and a rescue terrier mutt named Couscous. I was drawn to family medicine because it allows me to work with patients of all ages. I've always been particularly interested in women's health and pediatrics. After having my daughter a few years ago, I turned to breastfeeding medicine. I became a Certified Lactation Consultant in 2020 and have really enjoyed helping support parents and their new infants. I completed my residency at Group Health and then practiced for several years in California. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because of the focus on preventive medicine and community health. It's a cohesive organization that allows me to easily access expert resources and provide the best care possible to all my patients.
About my practice
I love the idea of treating the whole person when I address medical issues, which is what led me to family medicine. It's a privilege to get to know my patients as individuals and also about where they fit in with their families and communities. Together, we can work to achieve the best state of physical and mental health, as well as quality of life. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and identities. I particularly enjoy women's health and reproductive health, breastfeeding medicine, and pediatrics. I love getting to care for my patients over a long period of time and help them with medical issues that come and go throughout their life. As a family doctor, I have the privilege of learning where people come from, what their goals are, and how we can work together to achieve them.
How I thrive
I take care of my mental and physical health by taking morning and lunchtime walks at work, which help me clear my mind and be prepared for whatever comes next. Snuggles with my daughter at home keep me happy -- she motivates me to be the best I can be in every aspect of my life. I also like reading fiction and fantasy and listening to music.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
