About me
I completed my schooling entirely in Washington. During grade school, I was awarded the Washington Scholar Award by the Governor. I completed my Undergraduate degree in Biochemistry with Honors at the University of Washington (UW) and went on to complete my medical degree at the UW School of Medicine. I also completed my Master of Health Administration degree at the UW School of Public Health. My sister is completing her law degree at the UW School of Law. My family and I are Huskies through and through! I am a classically trained Indian dancer and I have years of research experience from scientific bench research to health care infrastructure and improving quality measures.
About my practice
I am grateful to be given this role in your medical care ñ I take this responsibility with great respect and sincerity because medicine is not simply about physical health but about the quality of life, the whole person. I want to support you in the best way I can and be part of a team that will advocate for a healthy and meaningful life for you. I look forward to learning and collaborating with all the wonderful, dedicated team members of Kaiser Permanente and I look forward to getting to know you and your journey.
How I thrive
I very much enjoy spending time with family ñ traveling, trying different food experiences, watching a variety of movie genres, and celebrating all occasions with my savvy event planning skills. I thrive in contributing to the community, be it to help those in need or facing adversity or to celebrate culture and diversity. This passion has led me to co-found a youth organization with my sister to help support our growing youth population to be equipped with the skills and opportunities to become strong advocates and leaders of their communities.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
