About me
I was born and raised in Shelton, Washington. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon, where I was a four-time letterman in football. Subsequently, I attended the University of Washington for pharmacy and physician assistant training. I have two older sisters, and I recently became an uncle - twice - as they gave birth four months apart.
About my practice
I was first exposed to the health care field through my mother, who was a nurse. I would spend time after school at her clinic. As I progressed in my education, I became more and more interested in health care. Iíve been with Kaiser Permanente for four years working as a pharmacy intern. The organization offers the type of medical care that I would want to receive, and the type of care that patients deserve. Washington Permanente Medical Group offers the opportunity to practice medicine - and learn best practices - with the support of top-notch providers, staff, and research. I approach health care much the same way a coach motivates his players. I offer patients the best information possible and help them to live healthier lives - despite obstacles along the way. Specific medical interests include diabetes care and optimization of medications. Establishing connections with patients and their loved ones is the most meaningful aspect of practicing medicine.
How I thrive
I currently play on an indoor soccer team. I also love running, hiking, road biking, crossword puzzles, coaching, and exploring Seattle. One of my favorite activities is relaxing with friends and family with competitive games. A healthy lifestyle is important to me, mentally and physically. In order to provide the best care possible to others, I take care of myself with nutritious food, relaxation, and plenty of sleep.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
