Where I practice
About me
I am a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist, dedicated to delivering compassionate and comprehensive cancer care. I earned my medical degree and received my medical training from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. I joined Kaiser Permanente after completing my hematology and oncology fellowship in 2024. My journey in medicine is driven by a deep commitment to helping patients and their families navigate cancer with clarity, dignity, and support.
About my practice
I provide personalized care for patients with a wide range of blood disorders and cancers. In a field that is constantly advancing, I enjoy the challenge of ensuring each patient I care for receives my recommendations and care based on the most current available information. My approach combines the latest evidence-based treatments with open, empathetic communication. I work to understand each patient's unique values and goals so we can together develop care plan that best meets their needs and their unique circumstances.
Cancer Subspecialty Focus
My clinical expertise includes the treatment of complex hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, and benign hematologic conditions. I manage a wide range of cancers, including breast cancer, head and neck cancers, genitourinary cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, skin cancers, lung cancer and thymoma, thyroid and endocrine tumors, as well as hematologic malignancies such as lymphomas and leukemias.
Collaboration on Multidisciplinary Teams
I collaborate closely with specialists across disciplines to provide comprehensive and coordinated care. I participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case reviews to ensure that each patient benefits from a team-based approach. I also participate in initiatives to evaluate and improve the quality of care we provide to ensure our members receive effective and safe care that meets their needs.
Professional Affiliations
I am an active member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), which keeps me engaged with ongoing advancements in cancer research, clinical guidelines, and education.
How I thrive
Outside of work, I value staying active and balanced. I enjoy spending time with my family and cherish opportunities to enjoy nature and the outdoors. These moments outside of medicine help me return to my practice with focus, energy, and empathy.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
