About me
I am a Washington native who is honored to be serving the community where I grew up. I was raised in Olympia and Tacoma and returned to the Pacific Northwest after training in Massachusetts, California, and Oregon. My father and several aunts and uncles are physicians. Seeing their passion for health care inspired me to follow them into a career in medicine. I graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and the Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine, where I completed a fellowship in pain medicine. I also completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stanford University School of Medicine. I have a large family and love to spoil my many nieces and nephews. The collaborative and integrative environment of Kaiser Permanente helps me to provide the best possible care for my patients in the most efficient way possible.

I am a collaborative provider who takes a holistic, integrative approach to patient care. I strive to connect with patients on a personal level to understand their unique problems and concerns while working to resolve individual issues with pain management.
How I thrive
Spending time outdoors is an important part of how I stay active and happy. I enjoy spending summers with adventures on land and sea. In the winter, I enjoy spending time on the slopes, and I keep mentally active with my side passion of computer coding. I am an avid reader who enjoys sci-fi and fantasy books. I also try to learn something new every day.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
