About me
I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. My parents both grew up in India, and so I have a large extended family there. I was lucky to spend quality time in India while growing up. I moved to Seattle for my residency, met my husband here and now consider Seattle my home. I decided to pursue ob-gyn in order to educate, empower and advocate for women. After residency, I completed fellowship training in minimally invasive pelvic surgery.
About my practice
I joined KP because I wanted to join a community of physicians who are rewarded for the quality of care they provide, and not simply for the number of tests ordered or procedures performed. Furthermore, Kaiser Permanente promotes prevention, which I see as the foundation for strong and healthy patients and families. My areas of specialty are women's health, LGBTQ care, and maternity care. I love taking the opportunity to get to know my patients, understand how their health is affecting their life, and find an individualized care plan for them. My goal is to make a difference through education and providing access to services.
How I thrive
I stay healthy by doing yoga every morning, and pack a healthy lunch to take to work every day. I like reading, bouldering, cross-country skiing, running, and hiking. I believe in daily exercise, massage, and quality time with family and friends every day. My two favorite places are the kitchen and the outdoors. I am an avid cook and baker, and completed a pastry arts certificate program prior to starting medical school.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
