Where I practice
About me
I was born and grew up in Covington, Washington. My parents immigrated from Poland, and I grew up learning their language and culture. My mom was a dental assistant, and I saw the connections she made with people and how she made a difference in their lives. My love of science and biology and my desire to have an impact on people's lives inspired me to go into medicine. I did my undergraduate studies at Cornell University and earned my medical degree at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. I completed my general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. I've lived all over the country, but I've always wanted to move back to Washington to be closer to my family. I live in Gig Harbor with my partner and our very cute and spoiled malamute puppy. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because of their high-quality, patient-centered approach to care. I'm excited to be part of such a talented team and innovative organization.
About my practice
I completed additional training in urologic oncology and try to attend as many conferences and national meetings in the specialty as possible so I can provide my patients with the most up-to-date, innovative care. My expertise in urologic cancer includes cancers of the kidney and ureter, adrenal gland, bladder, prostate, and testicles. I believe in always putting my patients first. For many patients, our first visit may be the first time a diagnosis or sensitive issue is discussed. I strive to spend as much time as needed to make sure my patients understand their diagnoses and treatment options. I believe in shared decision-making and finding the best treatment approach for each person. My goal is for my patients to leave our appointments feeling informed and empowered. The best part of practicing medicine is forming relationships with my patients. I love providing an open, supportive environment where my patients can learn about their health issues.
How I thrive
I stay healthy by eating nutritious foods and exercising. Spending time outdoors makes me feel renewed and refreshed. I love hiking, skiing, and water activities in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. My family is very important to me, and they inspire me to be the best I can be in everything I do.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
