Where I practice
About me
I was born and raised in Western Washington and am excited to be practicing medicine in a community close to where I grew up. I earned my bachelor's degree in Russian Studies from Brigham Young University before returning to Washington to attend medical school at Pacific Northwest University in Yakima. Family medicine is the perfect fit for me because I enjoy caring for people at every stage of life and helping patients achieve their health goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our small dog, Pipsqueak. We love exploring the outdoors, playing yard games, and cheering on our Seattle sports teams whenever we get the chance.
About my practice
As a family physician, I believe great healthcare starts with listening. Every patient has a unique story, and I strive to understand the whole person. I enjoy caring for patients of all ages, from children to older adults, and partnering with families throughout every stage of life.
My approach emphasizes prevention, education, and working together to develop a plan that fits each patient's goals and lifestyle. I also enjoy using osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) as part of a comprehensive, whole-person approach to care. It is a privilege to build long-term relationships with my patients and help them live healthier lives. I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente because I believe its integrated model of care allows me to provide the collaborative, patient-centered care I strive to deliver every day.
How I thrive
I recharge by spending time with my family, being outdoors, and staying active. Whether it's taking walks with our dog, Pipsqueak, playing yard games with friends, or cheering on our local sports teams, I enjoy activities that bring people together. Maintaining a healthy balance between work, family, and recreation helps me bring energy, focus, and compassion to the patients I care for each day.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
