About me
I grew up in Corvallis, Oregon, in the beautiful Willamette Valley. I've lived in the Bay Area, on the East Coast, and in Austin, Texas. I'm thrilled to return home to the Pacific Northwest, where I live with my partner. Before becoming a midwife, I was a doula in the Bay Area and worked alongside midwives at Kaiser Permanente. I learned so much from the incredibly compassionate, wise care they provided to their patients, and they inspired me to pursue a career as a certified nurse midwife. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology at San Francisco State University, I went to Columbia University and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then a master's degree in midwifery. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because they are leading the way in providing equitable, evidence-based health care while fully integrating the midwifery model of care.
About my practice
My areas of expertise include women's health, maternity, LGBTQ+ care, and teen care. I believe in shared decision-making and empowering my patients to make informed choices. Every day I strive to provide patients and their families equitable, kind, and clinically vigilant care that is always mindful of the individual. It's a joy and a privilege to develop relationships with my patients throughout their lives, from their first IUDs to births and menopause.
How I thrive
Being in nature and hiking with friends and family helps me decompress. I'm a beginning rock climber, and I really enjoy it. Yoga, dancing, and traveling keep me motivated and inspired. Spending time with family and friends keeps me grounded. I also enjoy reading and knitting baby hats.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
