About me
Growing up, I moved with my family around the Pacific Northwest, but I completed my medical training in Utah and Minnesota. After 10 years in Minnesota, my husband and I came back to the Pacific Northwest to be near family and escape the cold. I'm married to my college sweetheart, a tech guru, and we have two boys.
About my practice
I chose to practice pediatrics because I enjoy all aspects of preventive care and getting to know patients and families over many years. Nothing is more fun than seeing kids grow and develop to the delight of their parents. I chose to practice at this organization because I wanted to be a part of comprehensive care model that includes people and families of all ages and backgrounds. While I love all aspects of care, I'm especially interested in issues surrounding asthma, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), teens, and parenting. I try to treat children and families in the way I would want my own children treated. I recognize the importance of the entire family unit, and the impact a child's health has on the entire family. I strive to provide the best possible medical care in a way that is sensitive to the needs of each parent and child.
How I thrive
We spend most of our free time exploring mountains, beaches, and parks with our boys and our dog. I love to be outside in all sorts of weather and can always count on my dog to help me enjoy lots of fresh air. At home, I'm usually cooking, reading, knitting, or figuring out how to redecorate the house. We also enjoy traveling.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
