Where I practice
About me
I grew up in India. After graduating at the top of my class in medical school, I moved to New York, where I completed my residency training in internal medicine and fellowship in allergy and immunology. My love of science and its ability to contribute to health and my natural tendency to connect well with people inspired me to be a clinician. I'm happily married to my supportive husband. He's my best friend, and we have a son, who is our joy. We moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest 4 years ago, and we love to call this area our home. I was named a Top Doctor by Seattle Met in 2018, 2019, and 2020. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because of its strong leadership, governance, and structured operation that's highly regarded among its employees. I also believe in the emphasis on collaborative care, health promotion, compassion, and equity. I love having the opportunity to collaborate with the excellent Kaiser Permanente providers.
About my practice
I focus on adult and pediatric allergies, asthma, and immunodeficiencies. I strive to genuinely listen and understand my patients' concerns. I want to be there for them completely so that I can not only address their concerns, but also educate and partner with them to support their overall health and well-being. I value the trust and bond of the doctor-patient relationship. Being in medicine also gives me the joy of learning every day from my patients and my fellow team members. The ability to make a difference in somebody's health brings me a great sense of satisfaction. I've learned that true joy comes from living a purposeful life, serving a cause greater than yourself.
How I thrive
I strive to stay mentally and physically healthy by eating whole foods, getting good sleep, and exercising regularly. I love hiking and camping with my family. I also like to recharge with yoga, dancing, and learning violin. We also love traveling and learning about different cultures. I also smile as much as I can.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
