About me
I grew up in a small town in New Hampshire and went to Boston for my college and medical school training at Tufts and Harvard universities. I moved to Seattle for residency training and I love the medical culture and lifestyle of the Pacific Northwest. I have a wonderful husband, Andrew, and we have 2 very energetic (not so little) boys, and a rescue mutt who keep us very busy!
About my practice
I enjoy being part of a team that works together helping patients achieve their health goals. I feel Kaiser Permanente provides an environment that understands the many complex elements that contribute to our patients' health, including family, societal, emotional and physical factors. I strive to help patients understand their own health and I also want my patients to feel cared for and listened to. I love caring for patients and their families and forming lasting relationships with them throughout their lives. My areas of specialty include women's health, prenatal / obstetric care, pediatrics, sports medicine and gender health. I also ser;e on the faculty of the residency program and am the Seattle region Family Medicine Obstetrics Chief.
How I thrive
I'll do anything that gets me outside. This includes backpacking trips, skiing, tennis and triathlons, but more recently it's chasing my kids around and trust me, it's just as exhausting! I try to exercise every day and I take time every night to reflect on things that I'm grateful for. I love being with family and watching my boys discover new things every day. You can currently find me on the sidelines most weekends either cheering or coaching a multitude of sports.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
