Where I practice
About me
I am a born and raised Southern Californian and UCLA alum. I relocated to Washington over 35 years ago. I have 2 grown, lovely, and local daughters. Movement and rehabilitation have always been a part of my career. Before receiving my graduate degree in physical therapy at the University of Washington in 2003, I worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor with adults with disabilities and taught a variety of fitness classes. As a physical therapist, I to continue to help others improve their health and wellness and recover from pain and injury. I believe exercise and diet play a significant role in health care. I joined Kaiser Permanente because of their collaborative approach to care and am proud to be a part of an organization so committed to equity, inclusion, and diversity.
About my practice
Within the broad scope of physical therapy, I work with orthopedic, sports, neurologic, vestibular and persistent pain conditions and love the variety of working with such a diverse group of people and conditions. Additionally, I specialize in pelvic rehab for all genders. I enjoy working with challenging medical conditions and complex circumstances. I like connecting with patients and providing them with education and treatment for their health concerns. My goal is to understand patients' concerns, values, and conditions so that, together, we can develop treatment programs unique to their needs.
How I thrive
Health care begins with self-care! I feel best when I exercise often and eat clean. I exercise regularly by running, weight training and yoga. I've participated in sprint triathlons and half-marathons and love the motivation they provide. After much research, I follow a vegan diet and I'm working to incorporate meditation into my wellness routine.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
