About me
I was born in a small town in India. I come from a large family, and we all lived close to each other. I always enjoyed interacting with people, listening to their points of view, and helping others. I was drawn to biological sciences during high school and college. The combination of people and biological sciences drew me to medicine. I completed medical school in Visakhapatnam, India. My husband and I immigrated to Albany, New York. We moved to Redmond, Washington, and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. We have 2 lovely daughters whom we adore. I completed a geriatrics fellowship to gain a special skill set in taking care of older adults. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because of their collaborative, patient-centered approach to care. I appreciate their commitment to innovation and research, and I think they are well positioned to make the necessary transitions as the health care industry grows and evolves.
About my practice
I strive to listen to my patients with empathy. My areas of expertise include geriatrics, preventive care, women's health, adolescent health, memory loss, bone health, men's health, and mental health. I believe that educating my patients about their health concerns will empower them to make informed decisions. It's fascinating to see how families and communities take care of each other. It's very fulfilling and rewarding to be part of my patients' journey in transforming their health in a meaningful way. I love caring for people from different backgrounds, which gives me an opportunity to learn something new every day.
How I thrive
I try to eat a healthy diet. Running, hiking, and walking are some of my favorite ways to stay physically active. As a family, we love traveling and enjoying different cuisines. I love watching movies with family and friends and reading books. My friends and family motivate, support, and inspire me constantly.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
