About me
I grew up in Utah and then joined the U.S. Air Force to complete my medical training. For the next 14 years, I moved 10 times, living all over the country, before settling down in Seattle, Washington. Im married to the most beautiful and kind woman in the world, and we have five fun children that make for a very full and enriching life.
About my practice
I've always wanted a job that matters - one that helps people, challenges my mind, and gives me the opportunity to make the world a better place. Medicine fulfilled all of this for me. I joined Kaiser Permanente to work for a nonprofit organization that has the best interests of its patients in mind. I wanted a work environment that prioritized people and had the processes in place to make that happen. I feel privileged to participate in my patients medical care to enable them to lead a life that matters to them and those they love. In my occupational medicine practice, I focus on injured worker care, medical surveillance exams, and commercial drivers license medical exams. I like the variety of people whom I get to interact with and learn from, and the knowledge I gain about various jobs that people work at and the affects these jobs have on their health.
How I thrive
The best thing in the world is spending time with my family. No other activities generate memories of greater worth or bring me greater happiness. I spend a small portion of each day reading something that inspires and uplifts. I eat well; Im lucky my wife has an extraordinary skill at and love of cooking. I enjoy anything sports related in which my children participate. I also like to hike and explore new technology.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
