About me
I was born in Hawaii and lived in Thailand for 8 years before moving back to the US. I have since lived in Oregon, California, Texas and now Washington, where my husband and I want to put down permanent roots. Each place influenced me in unique ways and no matter where life takes me, home will always be where my family is. I am happily married to my medical school sweetheart. We have one energetic but incredibly sweet doodle, Maisel. I am excited to be a part of the KP family. I was strongly compelled to practice medicine with an organization that prioritizes a collaborative nature, access to multispecialty care, and a commitment to community.
About my practice
Growing up in Hawaiian and Thai cultures where family is highly respected, the importance of family has been ingrained in me. In the same way a child relies on family for physical and emotional needs, protection, and guidance, patients rely on me to provide physical and emotional healing, guidance, education, and to advocate for them. It is my mission to cultivate this sense of "ohana" in my practice, to journey through life with my patients and care for them as valued members of a familial community. I love having the privilege of serving patients of all ages and backgrounds, fostering long-lasting relationships with my patients, and providing comprehensive care that encompasses physical, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being.
How I thrive
I stay mentally, emotionally, and physically healthy by taking time to unplug. I stay active by hiking, playing ultimate frisbee, snowboarding, and picking up new hobbies (which have most recently been gardening and pickleball). I cherish spending time with friends and family, enjoy traveling the world, and always remember to thank God for His blessings.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
