Where I practice
About me
I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I am married to my wonderful husband, Brendan, and we have a young son and daughter. After working in health policy for several years after college, I wanted to spend my days doing work with a more concrete, tangible impact. I attended medical school at Rutgers. I love combining my clinical work with the broad health policy perspective I gained in my first career. My older sister, Helen, and I are both family medicine physicians working for Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
For me, the most satisfying part of medicine is being present for my patients as they go through life changes, both good and bad. I love delivering babies, helping teens through the turbulence of adolescence, guiding women through their pregnancies and helping my older patients stay healthy and have the highest quality of life possible. I value long-term relationships with patients and families. I specialize in women's health, maternity medicine, teens and LGBTQ care. I joined Kaiser Permanente because I believe that the best medical care is highly coordinated, evidence-based treatment from a team of professionals. I love working in an environment that values primary and preventive care.
How I thrive
My favorite place to visit is southern Utah, which has many incredibly beautiful national parks. We also like to explore Seattle's many beautiful urban parks and coffee shops. Two young children keep us very active and busy. We like to play, hike and walk around Green Lake, and try to eat dinner together every night. My husband and I have become specialists in preparing delicious meals that are safe for our child with food allergies. On weekends, we go to the library to pick up books for the week.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
