About me
Seattle is my hometown, and I returned here to be close to my family after completing medical training in New York, California, and Oregon. My passion for science and my desire to help people stay healthy inspired me to become a clinician. I did clinical research during my training, and I hope to integrate the latest breakthroughs in research into my practice as part of bringing evidence-based medical care to my patients.
About my practice
I genuinely care about my patients and strive to treat them the way I would want myself or my family to be treated. I actively listen to my patients' concerns and their questions about medical conditions. I seek to understand more about their lifestyles and their hopes, with the goal of achieving the best patient-centered care. Practicing medicine gives me the ability and privilege to address a diversity of medical conditions and have a positive impact on patients from all walks of life.
How I thrive
I stay mentally and physically healthy by eating healthy food, hiking in beautiful parks in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, and through aerobic dance exercises. I also enjoy creating healthy dishes with inspirations from different cultures. I enjoy music and play classical piano. I would like to explore music theory and different piano techniques with the hope of playing other genres of music such as jazz and pop. I also love to travel and to try cuisines from around the world.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
