About me
I am second a generation Seattle native and very pleased to be back home. I first left to attend undergraduate and then medical school in the Los Angeles area. I then crossed coasts to complete my medical residency at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn. There I worked in a high-need, inner city hospital where I learned a wide breadth of medicine, served a diverse community, and mentored fellow residents through my role as Chief. It was this challenging and rewarding experience that reinvigorated my commitment to my profession and patients. It is a sincere privilege and an honor to care for people during the most difficult times of their lives.
About my practice
I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente to be part of a talented and progressive medical group that instills trust and values provider input. The culture is collaborative and empowers staff to serve as leaders. As a practitioner, my goal is to treat everyone like family and to always act with each patient's best interest in mind. My specialties include elderly and end-of-life care. The medical field is fascinating in that it is an ever-changing terrain. The rapid rate of innovation and advancement means I have to work diligently to remain current, but that tools to advance care are improving every day. The most rewarding part of my job is working in concert patients and their families to educate and creatively problem solve to improve their quality of life.
How I thrive
When I'm not at work I am spending time with my wife, two young children, extended family, and friends. I enjoy the outdoors - running, tennis, golf - and dining at neighborhood restaurants. To keep myself healthy, I like to act silly with my kids, relax with movies and music, and travel to new places.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
