Where I practice
About me
I was raised outside New York City in northern New Jersey. School brought me across the country from Washington D.C. to Denver to San Francisco. I came to Seattle because of the tech industry and outdoor opportunities. I am married, and have three amazing little daughters. At age 15, I got certified as an EMT, and volunteered on an ambulance squad. During one call, I found that three of my friends were victims of a car accident. I was grateful I had the knowledge to help them, and vowed to become a doctor. I am the assistant physician in chief of Medical Specialty in Seattle.
About my practice
I truly care for the welfare of my patients. I want them to understand their conditions, and to feel well physically and emotionally. I treat my patients as I would treat my own family, and support them so we can make decisions about their care together. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because of my deep desire to keep people well, to care for the whole person, and to practice medicine that benefits the community as well as the individual. My partners in this diverse medical group are phenomenal.
How I thrive
I cook healthy meals in an effort to raise nutrition-savvy kids who love delicious foods from different cultures. We have a potager, and frequently go to farmers markets together so we can prepare meals as a family. Any day I can spend outside in nature is a good day. I do love an adrenaline rush. Jumping out of a plane? No problem. Cruising in a glider? Sure. Scuba at night? Fantastic. The only thing that holds me back these days is wanting to stay in one piece for my family.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
