About me
I was born and raised in the small college town of Corvallis, Oregon. After venturing to Los Angeles for college, then Portland, Oregon, for medical school, and Madison, Wisconsin, for residency, I returned to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to family. I'm excited to explore the area with my fiancÈ.
About my practice
I decided to go into medicine because it lets me help people on an intimate level. Being able to provide a continuity of care throughout a patient's life brings me great joy and fulfillment. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because it's well-established, and it emphasizes multispecialty care. This care model allows doctors to provide the best care for patients. When my patients leave my office, I hope that they feel that I addressed their concerns. I want my patients to know that I genuinely care about them, not only as a patient, but also as a person. I enjoy developing relationships with them and earning their trust. I love being an ob-gyn for its diversity and because it's a privilege to walk women through some of the most vulnerable parts of life, whether it's through deliveries or stillbirths. My areas of expertise include minimally invasive surgery and obstetrics.
How I thrive
I love taking road trips and exploring national parks with my family. You can find me hiking, running, or kayaking when the weather cooperates. I also stay healthy by going to the gym, and practicing yoga online. I also enjoy having board game nights with family and friends.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
