Where I practice
About me
I was born, raised, and completed my education in Chicago. My parents were both physicians, and they inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. From a very early age, I've had a passion to learn how the human body functions. I love travel and new experiences, and I use every bit of vacation time to explore new areas of the world. I have even visited all seven wonders of the modern world! Some of my favorite vacation destinations include France, Israel and Cuba.
About my practice
My goal is to work with my patients to make mutually agreeable decisions regarding their care, and I always try to give them the medical advice that I would give to a family member. I feel privileged to work in a service-oriented profession where I can positively influence so many lives. I am board certified in internal medicine and dermatology, and I focus on medical dermatology in general. I really enjoy the versatility of being a dermatologist. For example, I get to practice both medical and surgical dermatology, and I work with patients ranging from infants to the elderly. I also enjoy working in a multi-specialty practice with many different providers. I strongly believe in the holistic health care model that we practice at Kaiser Permanente.
How I thrive
I am married with three daughters. Our family loves music and travel, and we especially enjoy long road trips. I like walking, yoga and photography. I always strive to keep learning. I study French, read exhaustively (especially biographies), and watch quiz and cooking shows regularly. With three young children, there is no shortage of activity, but I try to work in a few quiet moments as well.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
