About me
I am a native Seattleite, and I attended Seattle University before moving to the Midwest for graduate school. I was happy to return to Seattle for my residency and be close to my family. I have continued to practice here. I was drawn to family medicine because I love caring for patients of all ages and getting to care for entire families for multiple generations. In addition to my medical degree, I completed my master's in public health at the University of Washington. I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente because of the organization's commitment to high-quality healthcare and preventive care. Our providers follow best practices in clinical decision making while still keeping patient needs front and center.
About my practice
I value every patient interaction I have and appreciate the trust my patients give me. I am an active listener and work with my patients to make the best decisions that will keep them healthy in the short and long term. I love getting to know my patients and their families, and I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to care for them throughout their lives. I am especially interested in women's health, issues of health disparity, care for immigrants and refugees, and tobacco cessation.
How I thrive
In my free time, I love being with my family and friends. It is amazing to watch my son's personality develop as he grows and learns daily. I stay active with yoga, spending time outdoors and working on art projects. I also love to travel, and one of my favorite places is Hood Canal, which I have visited since I was young. I strive to be physically, mentally and emotionally healthy by cooking at home, growing vegetables in the garden and being mindful in my daily life.

How we choose our network providers and hospitals
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business, and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered, or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
Search Tips
- Can’t find your provider? Additional facilities can be found by searching under Locations.
- Check your spelling.
- Broaden your search by using fewer words or more general words.
- Remove any location information from the search terms box.
- Search by practitioner name (ex. ‘John Smith’ instead of ‘Steel City Chiropractic Group’).
- Try searching by specialty.
