Where I practice
Hi! Welcome to my Web page.
I have lived in California since moving here in 2010 to complete a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Prior to this, I completed my anesthesia residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). I have worked for Kaiser Permanente in the Fontana and Ontario medical centers since 2011, and I am very happy to be a part of such a highly effective team of physicians, nurses, and health care providers!
About my practice
I am originally from Pittsburgh, so consequently, I’m a big fan of Steelers football and Penguins hockey! Surprisingly, I am the only member of my family to practice medicine or work in health care. However, from an early age I was inspired by physicians and felt compelled to practice medicine! I have the opportunity to practice medicine in a fabulous hospital and provide anesthesia to a myriad of patients, including babies born premature in the neonatal intensive care unit, women in labor, and geriatric patients. I attempt to care for all of my patients the same way I would a member of my own family, and I take great pride in ensuring that they have the best possible outcome regardless of how big or small the procedure/surgery is they are having.
How I thrive
I am a firm believer in daily exercise balanced with healthy eating and a good night’s sleep. I enjoy biking, rock climbing, and hiking. One of the highlights of my life was when I traveled to Tanzania and summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in just six days!
